So very sorry to hear this news of Joni’s passing. She was such a beautiful person. Always smiling. Great memories of being a Geepette with her. RIP Joni.❤️

I met Joni in 1st grade at Bowie Elementary.  Bowie Bobcats to Grand Prairie Gophers.  All these years later live down the street from each other.  Love your smile and laugh.  You will be missed my friend.  See you again one day.......

I would have to write a book about Joni to let people know just how much learning of Joni's death has affected me. So many wonderful memories from grade school to high school. Sleep overs, dance lessons, geepettes....I loved her. Will always be in my heart. Viv

Joni’s passing is such sad news.  I noticed today is her birthday.  She is gone too soon, but I bet this is the best one she has ever had.  She was always so friendly and so nice.  I will miss seeing her at our Class Get-Togethers and reunions.  I lost Pop to Alzheimer’s disease.  I did not know Joni had it.  I wish she had been spared that. God bless Mike and Joni’s family.

Sad to read the news of Joni's passing. Buster said it best when he said she was having the best birthday. We are left behind and will miss her, but we have hope and assurance we will see her again.
