The default picture on the Chat window is based on what the system administrator has loaded as you YEARBOOK PICTURE.  If wish to change the picture that shows up the Instant message windows, you can upload the picture into your profile and designate it as the MASTER PICTURE for you.  To be effective, this picture should not be a group picture but should be a FACE shot of you.  THIS WILL NOT CHANGE THE YEARBOOK PICTURE.
