Thomas Alan Douthitt
December 20, 1952 - January 9, 2013
Tommy Douthitt passed away January 9, 2013 at home. He was born December 20, 1952 in Dallas, TX. Tommy worked as an armed guard at LTV, and as a fireman. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and First United Methodist Church. Tommy is survived by his wife Michelle, sons Dow, Rusty and Justin, mother Mary, and brother Jimmy. He was preceded in death by his father Dow and brother Johnny.

Tommy was a great friend to me in High School. One day he barely had hair touching his ear, but school officials took him out of class anyway, for being non compliant to dress code. Tommy took it all in stride.
In later years, working security for Vought Aircraft, he scared me to death one day with a security alert, when he managed to recognize me, about 35 years after graduatlon, when I went there for a sales call.
Today the other security guards told me about his passing away early this morning.
You will be missed!

Have not seen Tom since retiring in 2007. He was my favoite security guard at Vought, and a good friend in school. Lots of good memories over a lot of years.
