I met with Phyllis in Austin, a few months before our 20th reunion. We kept up with each other after high school graduation. Phyllis graduated from UT Austin, and was working as a RN in Austin. I will always miss her vivacious smile and positive attitude! Phyllis saw the glass half-full at all times.
After I graduated from UTA, I worked as an administrative assistant to one of the professors/doctors at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Tx. One day I was walking into Labor and Delivery in Parkland, and Phyllis Grant walked through the door at the same time...she was an RN there; we were so excited to see each other...this would have been between 1974-1978. I always loved her...such a sweet person with a magnetic smile!
