November 27, 1952 - July 24, 2025

Benny Joe Emmons, 72, of Madill, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025, in Denison, Texas. He was born on November 27, 1952, in Dallas, Texas to the late Garland Clifford Emmons and Annie Ruth Craig Emmons. Benny was raised in Grand Prairie, Texas where he graduated from South Grand Prairie High School. He married Dorothy Rebecca Driver on June 5, 1971, in Grand Prairie and she preceded him in death on October 8, 2015. Benny owned and operated Supreme Western Products in Grand Prairie from 1972 to 2018 when he moved the business to Madill. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and he enjoyed shooting clays, working and loved playing with his dog April.      

Benny is survived by:

Children:  Tamara Nicole McShane and husband Patrick of Grand Prairie, Texas; Benny Joe Emmons Jr. and wife Clarissa, Madill, Oklahoma.

Grandchildren:  Kelsey McShane, Kamiryn Emmons, Benny Emmons III and wife Leah, Tyler McShane, Trinton Emmons and wife Bree          

Great Grandchild:  Benny Joe Emmons IV

Brother:  Jimmy Emmons and wife Jo, Grand Prairie, Texas

Sisters:  Bettye Williams, Jackson, Mississippi; Vickie Allen and husband Robert, Arlington, Texas

Benny was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 3 brothers; Marvin, Garland, and Johnny Emmons, 2 sisters; Sammy Williams and Dorothy McClure  

Casket Bearers: Benny Emmons III, Trinton Emmons, Tyler McShane, Chase Quiroz, Ed Cates, Jimmy Emmons Jr.

Benny was with us as a Sophomore but chose to leave us an go to South GPHS.  RIP Benny.
