What one personal achievement woul you like your classmates to know about you?:

I have done a lot. Tried a lot of cases. Argued hundreds of cases on appeal. Ran several foundations, but the crowning achievement was marrying my wife.
I know that without her help and her by my side none of this would have been possible. She has supported me every step of the way. She is a jewel. She has been so instrumental in guiding the school in Latvia that they named a new wing that opened last year after her.

Major or meaningful events since graduation (jobs, trips, family, etc.) 1991 - 2001:

Helped start Christian school in Latvia after the fall of the Iron Curtain and have started a foundation to support the school. www.talsichristianschoolfoundation.org
Also working with a Christian university in Yangon, Myanmar and head the foundation supporting it.

Major or meaningful events since graduation (jobs, trips, family, etc.) 2001 - 2011:

Started Youth Camp in Latvia in 2007. We just finished our 15th camp. It is amazing to see what has happened to the students who have gone through the camp. Many are pastors, missionaries, doctors, lawyers, engineers , etc. God is really using them to change Latvia.
In addition, we have started a foundation to support a Christian school in Myanmar. The average income there is $200 per year. We really do not appreciate what we have until we see how others live. We are raising money for the college to build a new campus and hope to have it raised by the end of next year. www.seamfoundation.org
In 2019 I started working with Nepalese churches around Kathmandu. Great people. Huge hearts

Major or meaningful events since graduation (jobs, trips, family, etc.) 2011 - 2021:

We sold our house in Arlington and moved to Dallas to be near our children and grandchildren and are in a great neighborhood right off White Rock Lake.

We have started planning for retirement. We bought 63 acres on Richland Chambers Reservoir in 2018 that is heavily forested with tons of deer and the best view on the lake. The game plan is to spend less time in Dallas and more time at the lake but we are not there yet.
